LEARNING SHOWCASE

My passions and interests as an educator and classroom teacher include effective teaching, learning, and leadership. These principles orbit around one central passion—to create the most engaging, interactive, and deeply transformative learning environment, both in my own classroom and the learning spaces on my school site, district, state, and world.

Education should allow for students to engage in thinking, designing, and creating alongside their peers and their mentor teachers. In turn, educators should design learning spaces and curricular design with student creativity and collaboration in mind.

The leaders of this educational movement should design professional learning and teacher support with these goals in teaching and learning in mind. To that end, I have strived to develop in these three areas as both a classroom teacher and an educational change-maker.

Below you will find the categories of Teaching, Learning, and Leadership with three topics for which I continue to create and design. These key areas of growth come from my most recent work in the MAET (Masters of Arts in Educational Technology) program at MSU (Michigan State University).
